Entry No. 17 — the Spokane file — filed under: arcade-play

Jedi Alliance

Spokane's original retro arcade packs over 160 arcade cabinets and pinball tables, all set to free play once you pay the door contribution, so you never feed a quarter. Cabinets range from the 1984 Atari Star Wars sit-down to Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga and Mortal Kombat, with pinball like Twilight Zone and Creature from the Black Lagoon. The same building doubles as a pop-culture museum displaying screen-used movie props from X-Men, Terminator 2 and Galaxy Quest alongside vintage 70s-90s toys. It's open Thursday through Sunday only.

The move: Pay the single door contribution and spend an evening trading high scores on free-play cabinets before hunting the movie-prop cases together.

📍 Before you go Open Thu-Sun only (Sat opens 2pm, others 6pm); flat door contribution covers all-you-can-play, all ages.
