Delta Flight Museum
68,000 square feet of one airline's entire history packed into two hangars built in the 1940s: a walk-through Boeing 747-400 (the first production model of that variant ever built), the restored "Spirit of Delta" 767, and a full-scale replica of Delta's original Monroe, Louisiana headquarters, tracing the company back to its start as a crop-dusting operation.
The move: Climb aboard the retired 747 together, try the flight simulators, then walk out to see the outdoor 757 and DC-9 displays before the museum closes for the day.
