Entry No. 5 — the Chicago file — filed under: witchy
Botanica Adde Eggun
Established in 1991, this West Side botanica is a working source for Santeria, Lucumi, Ifa, Palo and Espiritismo practitioners, not a tourist stop. Shelves hold orisha statuary, beaded elekes, herbs, candles and religious supplies for serious practice. Beyond retail, the house offers spiritual consultations, readings, cleansings and spell-breaking work.
The move: Step in respectfully to take in the orisha statuary and offering goods, and consider booking a spiritual reading or limpia cleansing together.
📍 Before you go This is an active religious-supply house; readings and cleansings are by arrangement. Approach as a sacred space, not a novelty shop.
