You pass through aisles of boxed board games at The Dice Guys Game Store before slipping into a 20-person gold-rush speakeasy where the signature cocktail arrives dusted in edible gold flake and 200 games wait at your elbow.
The move: Book a reservation, walk past the Catan shelves to the secret back bar, order the gold-flake 59er, and spend the night raiding the 200-game lending library — you didn't hear it from us, but it's the most fun you can have in a building that's also technically a hobby shop.
📍 Before you go It hides inside The Dice Guys Game Store on West Colorado Avenue, in the Old Colorado City historic district — there's no separate street door, so walk into the shop, head to the back, and find the small hallway that leads to the bar. The room is tiny, so it's strictly reservations-only; book ahead, especially for weekend evenings. The building is easy to spot once you're on the avenue: it sits across from the site of Colorado's original territorial capitol. Make a night of it — Old Colorado City is one of the Springs' most walkable strips, with galleries, dinner spots, and a popular ice creamery within a few blocks. Hours skew evenings and shift seasonally, so check ahead.
