Webb Gallery has occupied a sprawling 5,000 sq ft 1902 downtown building since 1994, packing it with self-taught and outsider folk art alongside antique fraternal lodge regalia, vintage painted carnival banners, memory jugs, and vernacular photography — exactly the kind of place where every corner holds something unexpected. Run by collectors Bruce and Julie Webb, the gallery mounts four rotating exhibits per year with new antique oddities arriving weekly.

The move: Visit on a weekend afternoon (open Sat-Sun 1-5pm) and give yourselves the full two hours to comb through the 5,000 sq ft of strangeness together — debate which secret-society sash is creepiest, pick a favorite carnival banner, then walk the historic Waxahachie courthouse square for coffee or a bite afterward.
