Candle Kitchen GJ

A tiny downtown candle bar where you build a scent from scratch instead of buying one off a shelf. You nose your way through more than 160 fragrance oils and essential oils, then settle on a blend of two or three to pour into a soy candle with a cotton wick. Because the wax has to set, you hand off your finished pour and come back two to four hours later to collect an 8 oz candle that burns over 60 hours. Walk-ins are always welcome, so it works as a spontaneous afternoon stop.

The move: Sniff your way through 160-plus fragrances together and each blend a custom two-or-three-scent soy candle, then wander downtown for a couple hours while they cure before picking them up.

📍 Before you go Soy/cotton-wick candles cure 2-4 hours, so plan to leave and return. Walk-ins welcome; reservations only needed for large groups.

Where: 120 N. 5th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501
