Stained Glass Works Design Studio

A studio founded by Linda Hiatt-Neely back in 1985 whose glasswork has shipped to Australia, England, and Brazil and even been sold at Walt Disney World gift shops. They run a one-day mosaic stepping-stone class where you cut and arrange colored stained glass in the morning, break for lunch, then cement and finish your stone in the afternoon. All supplies and instruction are included, ages 14 and up.

The move: Spend a full day building a mosaic stepping stone, designing the pattern together in the morning and grouting it into a finished garden piece by afternoon.
