GJ Makerspace

A community fabrication shop inside the Business Incubator with woodworking, welding, textiles, stained glass, laser cutting, and CNC stations, plus equipment-specific classes that are open to non-members, not just dues-paying makers. Past sessions have included instructor-led woodworking projects in the Wood Shop. Free Tuesday tours and a first-Monday Maker Meetup make it easy to scope out before committing.

The move: Take a non-member skills class together, like an instructor-led woodworking project, and build a small piece on real shop tools.

📍 Before you go Class offerings rotate; check the events calendar and confirm which require a safety orientation. Tours run Tuesdays at 5:30 PM.

Where: Technology Building, 2591 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, CO 81503 (south-side entrance)

Hours: Added 2026-06-23 — confirm current hours before you go.

⚠ Seasonal or scheduled — always check before you go.
