Culbertson Mansion State Historic Site

Located just across the river on Mansion Row, this 20,000-square-foot Second Empire mansion was built in 1869 by Indiana's wealthiest man. Alongside ornate hand-painted ceilings, the estate carries Victorian ghost lore tied to family tragedies and a tragic 1888 carriage house fire.

The move: Take a guided interior tour of the 25-room mansion, followed by a walk down historic Mansion Row to craft breweries in downtown New Albany.
