Good for a Few

A snug cocktail bar hidden behind the open bookshelves and a velvet curtain at the back of the Fine Print bookstore in the Plaza District. Thoughtful drinks and late-night snacks in a dim, Gatsby-esque room you'd never know was there from the shop out front.

The move: Browse the bookstore up front, pick out a paperback for each other, then slip past the bookshelves and velvet curtain to trade reads over carefully made cocktails in the back.

📍 Before you go Set in the Plaza District, OKC's compact arts-and-dining strip along NW 16th Street, this has no street entrance or sign of its own — you go in through the Fine Print bookstore and head to the back. The room is genuinely small, so it leans intimate and late-evening; weekend nights fill fast and you may wait, while a weeknight tends to be calmer. Treat it as a sit-and-linger destination, not a quick stop. The surrounding blocks are walkable and full of galleries, murals, and restaurants, so pair it with dinner nearby first; if you can time a monthly Plaza art walk, the whole street comes alive.
