Dig It
Founded by artist Stephanie Sunday in 2012, this eclectic Plaza shop carries vintage vinyl, comics, VHS tapes, zines, pop-culture tees and racks of '70s-'90s clothing — all with a distinct horror streak. There's a free Pac-Man machine to play while you dig.
The move: Dig through VHS horror, zines and vintage vinyl, try on absurd '80s clothes for each other, then settle a high-score grudge match on the free Pac-Man machine.
📍 Before you go Dig It sits in the Plaza District, the compact, walkable strip of NW 16th between Classen and Penn — look for the storefront tucked among the galleries and bars, not a standalone building. It's a tight space packed with crates and racks, so give yourselves time to actually dig. Street parking lines NW 16th and the side streets but fills up on weekends and event nights; there's a pay lot behind The Mule if you strike out. Aim for the second-Friday LIVE! on the Plaza art walk, when the whole block stays open late, then pair your haul with dinner or drinks a few doors down.
