Strange Earth Studio
Strange Earth is a small maker studio that runs short, beginner-friendly workshops across an unusually wide range of crafts under one roof: wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery, plus stained glass, fused glass, mosaics and painting. Their stained-glass sessions are single-evening builds of about 2.5 hours where you cut, copper-foil and solder a finished piece like a cactus suncatcher with no prior skill needed. Class sizes are kept small for hands-on attention.
The move: Take the 2.5-hour cactus stained-glass workshop together and each cut, foil and solder your own suncatcher to hang at home.
