Tucked inside the Plant People plant shop in Midtown, this candle bar walks you through sampling and blending fragrances and pouring your own clean-burning soy candle (ready for pickup the next day). The self-paced open-hours sessions are BYOB for beer or wine (no hard liquor), so you can sip while you pour. They also host a recurring Wax + Wine pouring night on the second Friday of each month, where a complimentary adult beverage is included.

The move: Sniff your way through fragrance oils together, blend a custom scent, and each pour and label your own soy candle while sharing a bottle of wine surrounded by houseplants.
