American Helicopter Museum & Education Center

Forty-plus rotorcraft and nothing but rotorcraft — autogyros, convertiplanes, military and civilian helicopters — including one of only two V-22 Osprey prototypes on public display anywhere, plus a memorial research library on the pioneers of vertical flight, in a region otherwise dominated by fixed-wing aviation museums.

The move: Climb into the cockpits visitors are allowed to sit in, then walk the outdoor fleet before poking through the Renzo Pierpaoli Memorial Library's rotorcraft archive.

Where: 1220 American Boulevard, West Chester, PA 19380
