Dairy Barn Ruins

Located within Luther Burbank Park, these concrete ruins are the remaining foundation of a dairy barn and milk operation. The facility was run by the Luther Burbank School (originally the Boys Parental School), which operated from 1905 to 1965 as a residential school for youth. Today, the low concrete walls stand as a historic, moss-covered labyrinth that visitors can easily explore along the park's paved trails.

The move: Take a scenic stroll along the Lake Washington waterfront on the Luther Burbank Park Loop, stopping to read the historical marker and photograph the mossy concrete foundations.

📍 Before you go The ruins are located inside Luther Burbank Park, a public municipal park, and are legally accessible via the park's trail system (though the provided address is a nearby private residence).
