Spokane Neon Museum
Artist Chris Bovey spent years rescuing and personally restoring the buzzing vintage signs that once lit up Spokane storefronts, and roughly a dozen of them now glow inside his Vintage Print + Neon shop in the historic Boulevard Building. It is a love letter to a single dying craft, with the collection working toward a permanent dedicated home. Seeing old commercial neon humming back to life indoors is genuinely strange and lovely.
The move: Wander in among the glowing restored signs, pick up a vintage Spokane print, and make a date of hunting the surviving neon still up around North Monroe afterward.
📍 Before you go The collection is currently shown inside the Vintage Print + Neon store, so go during shop hours; the standalone museum is still being built out.
