Candlelight Concerts at the Kansas Aviation Museum
The traveling Candlelight series stages string-quartet tributes by the glow of hundreds of (flameless) candles, and in Wichita it does it inside the 1935 Art Deco terminal of the old municipal airport, now the Kansas Aviation Museum. Evening sets pair classical players with pop catalogs like Fleetwood Mac, Adele, and Coldplay, usually in two back-to-back time slots. It is a rare chance to sit candlelit among historic aircraft and aviation architecture.
The move: Pick one of the two evening sets, settle in among the vintage planes, and listen to a live string quartet reinterpret a band you both love by candlelight.
📍 Before you go Ticketed, specific dates only (e.g., July 23 and Sept 24, 2026), often two time slots per night. Tickets via Fever; venue is the museum, not a standard concert hall.
