Invincible Vinyl
There's no sign you can read from the road. Invincible sits at the corner of 1st and Kalamath in a half-industrial stretch south of the arts district, hemmed in by tire shops and a highway interchange, and it's only open Thursday through Sunday afternoons. Inside, owner Dave runs a personal, genre-spanning dig through used and new LPs, 7-inches, cassettes and CDs that pointedly skips the obvious hits. It's the kind of shop you only find because someone told you, or because you got lost.
The move: Go on a slow Saturday afternoon, split up across the bins, and challenge each other to pull the weirdest record under $10. Have Dave settle who wins, then go listen to it.
